Traci Braxton Confirmed Dead At 50 After Battling with Cancer
Traci Braxton, the singer who starred in the reality show Braxton Family Values alongside her family, died on Saturday, 12th of March 2022. She was 50 years old.
Braxton died “this morning while the snow was falling,” according to her sister Toni Braxton and family. Traci Braxton had oesophagal cancer, according to sources.

“Needless to say, she was a brilliant light,” the family wrote. “She was a lovely daughter, an outstanding sister, a loving mother, wife, grandma, and a respected performer.” “She will be sorely missed.”
Braxton Family Values premiered on WeTV in 2011 and ran for seven seasons. Toni, Traci, Tamar, Trina, and Towanda, as well as their extended families, were the subject of the show.

She spent much of her time doing social work for children with disabilities, according to her website. She was married to Kevin Surratt, with whom she appeared on the TV series Marriage Boot Camp. Their son, Kevin Surratt Jr, said on Instagram his mother fought to the end.
“I love my mother forever and this hurts so much but I’m at peace knowing she’s not in pain anymore,” he said.
