How To Join Our Weekday Prayers On WhatsApp.

Social media and the internet are filled with a lot of morally and spiritually bankrupt content that can affect the mental and spiritual state of a believer. The world is degrading fast in morals and virtues and this is because the enemy is fighting hard to make it difficult for people to be saved and receive salvation. However, as intercessors, we have started a prayer chain that will stand in the gap and pray for souls. It is a 20-minute prayer chain from Monday to Friday by 11 PM PROMPT on WhatsApp.

This prayer chain is on WhatsApp and it is easy to join as stated below;

What We Pray For

  1. Revival Fire for Kingdom advancements, Kingdom service and Kingdom Mandate We are taking dominion over the forces that are taking the hearts of many away from Jesus Christ, the Way The Truth and The Life – John 14;6
  2. We are sending forth reaper angels (Matt. 9;37-38) into our harvest field to draft in souls via encounters, Interventions, evangelism, testimonies and so on by all means winning all 1 Cor 9;21-23
  3.  We are interceding for the land, our nations, our continent and the world destroying every satanic agenda against the body from within and without.

Why We Pray in Tongues

It’s an exercise of faith Jude 1:19-21 (19 These are the ones who cause divisions, who are worldly and devoid of the Spirit. 20But you, beloved, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, 21keep yourselves in the love of God as you await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you eternal life) WATCH THIS VIDEO FOR MORE INSIGHT

An efficient way of praying for things in thoughts and beyond imagination. When it comes to mysteries, praying in tongues addresses it for we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Holy Spirit knows all things. When you pray in tongues you cannot pray amis that is simply the meaning (James 4;3);

For example, When you pray for a promotion that is what your mind could think of as a necessity to get better pay or benefits, if that is God’s will then you’re in order but what if God wants you to leave the office and you love your place of employment. So when you pray in understanding you also pray in spirit which also means LORD LET YOUR WILL BE DONE

What If I Can’t Pray In Tongues?

Pray with scriptures listed on each point, Pray with the word of God. As you thirst for it He will pour out His spirit on you. Jer. 29;13 ( 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart).

Why Do We Pray At Night?

Anytime is a good time to PRAY, Pray without season. Intercession *Luke 18; 1 Thes. 5:17. When it comes to Night hours there are dimensions
1. Calmness and Swift connectivity. Just like it happens with mobile networks, activities tend to lessen as men begin to sleep and relax so finding time.in the night helps secure your day. (However, This is relative to individuals, some have a quieter morning than night)

2. Jesus Christ prayed fervently during the night hours and gave thanks during the day Luke 16;12, Matt. 26;40 Acts 16;25, Mighty miracles by morning hours were a product of fervent prayers. If you work at night then you can pray during the day. Most Morning prayers we have around now are products of Night intercessions before the event begins.

Why 20 Minutes?

20 minutes for a start, we believe people don’t begin to pray for an hour on their first night. A consistent prayer life is far more productive than an elongated one of prayer style. So with time, we will extend the time to 25, 30 and 1hr as God gives us grace.

The Group is open to New members, Members can add ok there members.

FROM JANUARY 11TH – 2OTH APRIL 2025
2025: THE LANDMARK YEAR

PREAMBLE

Text: Psalm 126:1-6

When the LORD brought back the captivity of Zion, We were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongues with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.” The LORD has done great things for us, and we are glad. Bring back our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the South.

Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

RCCG Open Heaven Daily Devotional For Saturday 29 March 2025 With Prayer Points By Pastor E. A. Adeboye – Don’t Look At Their Faces

TOPIC: Don’t Look At Their Faces

MEMORISE: “Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord.” – Jeremiah 1:8 (KJV)

READ: Jeremiah 1:4-10 (KJV)

4 Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee, and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

6 Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.

7 But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.

8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord.

9 Then the Lord put forth his hand and touched my mouth. And the Lord said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.

10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 1 Samuel 22-24

Open Heaven 29 March 2025 MESSAGE

Many believers fail to share the gospel because of fear. The key to overcoming this, however, is to ask God for boldness and wisdom for each unique occasion.

I recall a time I flew first class because someone gifted me the ticket. I sat next to a man who I could tell was very rich from his appearance.

|I really wanted to tell him about Jesus, but I was afraid he wouldn’t listen because he would think that he was above such things. Therefore, I decided to go about it with wisdom. I said, “Sir, I’d love to introduce you to my Daddy.”

He asked, “Who is your Daddy?” “My Daddy is a great chief. He’s into oil and gas, and He does some silver, gold, and diamonds. He also has a big farm with thousands of cattle,” I replied. Then he asked, “How come I don’t know him? What’s your father’s name?” I knew that if I said Jesus at that stage, I might lose Him, so I said, “My Father’s name is Chief Emmanuel.” That got his attention, and I was able to share the gospel with him.

When God called young Jeremiah to preach to the rebellious children of Israel, He instructed him not to be afraid of their faces. The same God is with you when you go out to tell others about Jesus’ love. He has given you His Spirit to teach you what to say, just as He taught me on that flight. No matter how tough-faced or uninterested people may look, don’t look at their faces; focus on the One who sent you and deliver His message to them.

Open Heaven 29 March 2025

An adage in Yorubaland says that you shouldn’t fear the one you are delivering a message to but the one who sent you to deliver the message. Don’t allow the fear of men prevent you from preaching the gospel. Keep your eyes on God, do as He has commanded all believers (Matthew 28:18-19), and leave the conviction and conversion to Him.

Once God is with you, nothing else matters. He’ll teach you what to say and how to say it. Preaching the gospel is not about how excellently you can speak and quote the Scriptures but the demonstration of the Spirit and of power (1 Corinthians 2:4).

Beloved, surrender your life to Jesus today if you haven’t; He is the only way to salvation. If you have surrendered your life to Him, ensure you share the gospel with others; don’t be afraid of their faces.

Open Heaven 29 March 2025 KEY POINT

Tell someone about the love of Jesus today.

HYMN 20 – Stand Up! Stand Up For Jesus

1 stand up, stand up for Jesus
ye soldiers of the cross;
lift high his royal banner,
it must not suffer loss.
From vict’ry unto vict’ry
his army he shall lead
till ev’ry foe is vanquished
and Christ is Lord indeed.

2 Stand up, stand up for Jesus,
the trumpet call obey;
forth to the mighty conflict
in this his glorious day.
Ye that are men now serve him
against unnumbered foes;
let courage rise with danger
and strength to strength oppose.

3 Stand up, stand up for Jesus,
stand in his strength alone;
the arm of flesh will fail you,
ye dare not trust your own.
Put on the gospel armor,
each piece put on with prayer;
where duty calls or danger,
be never wanting there.

4 Stand up, stand up for Jesus,
the strife will not be long;
this day the noise of battle,
the next, the victor’s song.
To him that overcometh
a crown of life shall be;
he with the King of glory
shall reign eternally.

Rhapsody Of Realities 29 March 2025 By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (Christ Embassy): Partakers of the Inheritance

TOPIC: Partakers of the Inheritance

SCRIPTURE: Colossians 1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light

MESSAGE

The word “meet” in the verse above means “qualify”; the Father qualified you to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in the Kingdom of Light. There’s an inheritance for you. Do you see why your mentality should be one of abundance? You’re the King’s kid, and everything that belongs to Him belongs to you.

Being born again, the Spirit confirms that you’re a child of  God: “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God” (Romans 8:16). Romans 8:17 says, “And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ….” And because you’re a child of God, you’re a joint heir with Christ—a partaker of the divine nature. You have all the rights Jesus has, as well.

Consider a more relatable analogy of a joint bank account. In a joint account, everything in that account belongs to both parties equally. Neither of them can access anything without the other person’s involvement. This illustrates what it means to be joint-heirs with Christ. Everything that belongs to Christ also belongs to you in full.

The Bible says, “The earth is the LORD’S, and the fullness thereof; the world and they that dwell therein” (Psalm 24:1). There’s no lack or deficiency in thisinheritance. What you need is to discover more from the Word of God about this inheritance that’s already yours. Without this knowledge, you may live unaware of the full benefits you have in Christ.

Rhapsody Of Realities 29 March 2025

2 Peter 1:2-3 says, Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.” Did you see that? Enjoying your inheritance and all that’s been made available to you in Christ Jesus is about your knowledge of Him. Hallelujah!

PRAYER: I’m an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ. All that belongs to Christ belongs to me in full and I walk in the fullness of my inheritance. I live in abundance and unending supply. The Word builds me up and makes me aware of all that God has freely given me in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY

2 Peter 1:3 AMPC “For His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the [full, personal] knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue).”

Acts 20:32 “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.”

Ephesians 1:11 “In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:”

Rhapsody Of Realities 28 March 2025 By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (Christ Embassy): With The Heart Man Believes

TOPIC: With The Heart Man Believes

SCRIPTURE: For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:10).

 MESSAGE:

What does it mean to believe with the heart? The Apostle Paul wasn’t referring to the physical heart, the organ that pumps blood in your body. He’s talking about your spirit. Your heart is your spirit—your innermost being.

You believe with your heart, not with your mind or your brain. This is why many people who try to reason God out with their minds can’t find Him. God doesn’t appeal to your senses; He is real to your spirit. The mind doesn’t have the capacity to figure out spiritual matters. It is the human spirit that understands these things.

ALSO, READ Open Heaven 28th March 2025 | Prayer Points – King Forever

When a man’s spirit is dead to God, the things of God will seem foolish to him. No wonder the Lord Jesus said in John 3:3, “…Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” This means he cannot see the realities of the Kingdom of God nor can he know God. But when you’re born again, it’s different. Even when your brain is unable to figure something out, you can still believe it with your spirit.

Think about the virgin birth of Jesus Christ: Mary, a virgin, gave birth to a baby. There’s no science that can explain that. How about Jesus dying, being buried for three days, and then rising from the dead? The natural human mind can’t explain it. But we believe it, because with the heart man believes, not with the mind.

Rhapsody Of Realities 28 March 2025

The human spirit has the capacity to believe even that which it can’t explain or understand. It’s the reason some say that as Christians we’ve been brainwashed. No! We weren’t brainwashed; we were “heart-washed!” God gave us a new heart, a believing heart. Someone says, “I only believe what I see!” That doesn’t make sense because why would you need to believe what you can already see?

“…Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). Faith is of the heart and not the senses. When you believe, your spirit takes a hold of divine truths that your mind cannot grasp. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the gift of faith that works from my spirit. I believe and embrace your Word with my heart, taking hold of every divine truth, and it transforms my life. My spirit is alive to you, and I walk in your glory and righteousness today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY

Mark 11:22-24 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. [23] For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. [24] Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Rhapsody Of Realities 28 March 2025

Hebrews 11:1-3 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. [2] For by it the elders obtained a good report. [3] Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

2 Corinthians 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

READ: James 4:13-17

SCRIPTURE: If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that. James 4:15

MESSAGE

I was unable to focus on a work project because of anxiety; I was afraid that my plans for it wouldn’t succeed. My anxiety came from pride. I believed my timeline and plans were best, so I wanted them to proceed unhindered. A question broke through my thoughts, however: Are your plans God’s plans?

The problem wasn’t my planning—God calls us to be wise stewards of our time, opportunities, and resources. The problem was my arrogance. I was fixated on my understanding of events and how I wanted them to turn out, not on God’s purpose and how He wanted my plans to turn out.

James encourages us to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that” (4:15). We’re to plan not with a presumptuous mindset, thinking we know everything and have control over our life, but from a position of submission to God’s sovereignty and wisdom. After all, we “do not even know what will happen tomorrow.” In our humanness, we’re helpless and weak, like “a mist that appears . . . and then vanishes” (v. 14).

Only God has authority and power over everything in our lives; we don’t. Through the Scriptures and the people, resources, and circumstances He allows each day, He guides us to live in submission to His will and ways. Our plans aren’t to come from following ourselves but from following Him.

ODB WORD FOR TODAY: When you make plans apart from God’s leading, what’s the outcome? What plans can you submit to His authority?

ODB PRAYER FOR TODAY: Dear God, please help me to submit to You and to let go of my plans for my life and embrace Yours.

RCCG Open Heaven Daily Devotional For Friday 28 March 2025 With Prayer Points By Pastor E. A. Adeboye – King Forever

 TOPIC: King Forever

OPEN HEAVEN 28 MARCH 2025 MEMORISE: The Lord is king forever and ever: the heathen have perished out of his land. Psalm 10:16

READ: Psalm 29:10-11

10 The Lord sitteth upon the flood; yea, the Lord sitteth King for ever.

11 The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.

MESSAGE

God wasn’t enthroned; therefore, nobody can dethrone Him. The devil once tried, but he was kicked out from Heaven (Revelation 12:9). God is King, and He is King forever.

Ezoic
When I say that God is king, I mean that He is King over all earthly kings.

No matter how powerful a king is and no matter how much he has achieved, God is greater than him.

In Daniel 4:1-37, Nebuchadnezzar thought that he could take the glory that belonged to God.

God made him eat grass for seven years, and when he came back to his senses, he said, “God is the Almighty.”

If you are a king in your own right, whether in your organisation, family, state or wherever your reign is only temporary.

You should submit to the One who is King forever if you want to have a good and memorable reign.

David submitted to God. and up until today. Israel still recognises him as their greatest king ever.

Many years ago, I was invited to dedicate the RCCG national headquarters in a particular country, and I gave the church leaders a date in my calendar.

Open Heaven 28th March 2025

In that country, government permits are required before hosting dedication ceremonies, so the church applied for a permit.

However, a man in the government was determined to stop the dedication.

He said. “I have heard about this church. You plan to convert everyone and build churches everywhere; that will not work here.”

The church leaders called me to report the situation and to be honest, I didn’t even pray about it.

The day the man was to attend a meeting to conclude that the dedication wouldn’t be allowed to take place, he accidentally put both of his legs into the same trouser hole as he was dressing up.

He struggled to free his legs until he fell and was rushed to the hospital. He eventually died with both of his legs still in the same trouser hole.

Nobody possesses greater power than God; when He decides to do something, it’s better to cooperate with Him because He cannot be stopped.

Jesus is King forever, and all power belongs to Him. All souls are His (Ezekiel 18:4), including yours, and He wants you to surrender what belongs to Him.

You belong to the King, and it is a blessed thing to belong to Him because you will automatically have access to all that He has.

KEY POINT: There is only one King who reigns forever: King Jesus.

OPEN HEAVEN 28 MARCH 2025 HYMN 18:

1 Praise to the Lord, the Almighty,
the King of creation!
O my soul, praise Him, for He is thy
health and salvation!
All ye who hear,
Now to His temple draw near;
Sing now in glad adoration!
2 Praise to the Lord, who o’er all
things so wondrously reigneth,
Who, as on wings of an eagle,
uplifteth, sustaineth.
Hast thou not seen
How thy desires all have been
Granted in what He ordaineth?
3 Praise to the Lord, who hath fearfully,
wondrously, made thee!
Health hath vouchsafed and, when
heedlessly falling, hath stayed thee.
What need or grief
Ever hath failed of relief?
Wings of His mercy did shade thee.
4 Praise to the Lord, who doth prosper
thy work and defend thee,
Who from the heavens the streams of
His mercy doth send thee.
Ponder anew
What the Almighty can do,
Who with His love doth befriend thee.
5 Praise to the Lord! Oh, let all that
is in me adore Him!
All that hath life and breath, come
now with praises before Him!
Let the Amen
Sound from His people again;
Gladly for aye we adore Him.

READ: 1 Samuel 8:1-9

The Lord told [Samuel]: “. . . It is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me.” 1 Samuel 8:7

MESSAGE

Nuñez tumbled down the mountain and into a valley where everyone was blind. A disease had robbed the original settlers of sight, and subsequent generations born blind-had adapted to life without being able to see. Nuñez tried to explain what it was like to possess eyesight, but they weren’t interested. Eventually, he found a passage through the mountain peaks that had prevented him from leaving the valley. He was free! But from his vantage point, he now saw that a rockslide was about to crush the blind dwellers below. He tried to warn them, but they ignored him.

This tale by H. G. Wells, “The Country of the Blind,” would likely resonate with the prophet Samuel. Toward the end of his life, his “sons did not follow his ways” in loving and serving God (1 Samuel 8:3). Their spiritual blindness was mirrored by “the elders of Israel” (v. 4), who told Samuel to “give us a king” (v. 6). They’d all turned their eyes from God and faith in Him. God told Samuel, “It is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me” (v. 7).

It can hurt when those we care for reject God in spiritual blindness. But there’s hope even for those whom “the god of this age has blinded” (2 Corinthians 4:4). Love them. Pray for them. The one who “made his light shine in our hearts” (v. 6) can do the same for them.

How does it encourage you to know that God sees those who can’t see Him? Why is there always hope for even the spiritually blind?

Loving God, please help me to pray for those who are blind to Your love and to trust You with them.

2025 will be a Landmark Year, as prophesied by our Father in the Lord, Daddy GO. It will be noted for spectacular miracles; mathematically, it is also observed to be an uncommon year. Mockers will grow stronger like rams fattened for the slaughter, and the Wind of change that has started blowing will blow stronger this year, with both positive and negative implications. Let us pray that the wind will blow in our favour for RCCG and our nation.

From the above passage, those who serve God, sowing their precious seeds in tears, will doubtless reap a landmark harvest of miracles. Therefore, our key action is to serve God fervently in 2025. God has led our Father in the Lord, Daddy GO, to declare one hundred days of fasting, starting on 11th January 2025. Rhapsody Of Realities 27 March 2025 By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (Christ Embassy): The Faith – Examples of Joshua and Caleb

TOPIC: The Faith – Examples of Joshua and Caleb

SCRIPTURE:  2 Corinthians 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.

MESSAGE

Numbers 13-14 recounts the story of the twelve spies sent by Moses to scout the land of Canaan, the Promised Land. They spent forty days exploring the land and brought back evidence of its abundance, including a large cluster of grapes. However, while Caleb and Joshua encouraged the Israelites to trust God and take possession of the land, the other ten spies described the land as dangerous and inhabited by giants.

The Israelites, overcome by fear and doubt, rebelled against Moses and Aaron, longing to return to Egypt. God’s anger burned against their unbelief, and as a result, that generation, except Caleb and Joshua, didn’t enter the Promised Land. Despite Caleb and Joshua’s attempts to reassure them of God’s power, the people refused to believe.

Here’s what I want you to notice concerning what the Lord said about the report of these other 10 spies: “And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel…” (Numbers 13:32). It wasn’t Joshua or Moses who labelled their report as “evil”—it was the Lord Himself because it contradicted His Word.

Rhapsody Of Realities 27 March 2025

What was the evil report? God had declared that the Israelites would conquer the giants and take possession of the land flowing with milk and honey. But the ten spies said, “Even if it’s true that the land flows with milk and honey, we can’t take it. They disregarded God’s assurance of victory and accused Moses of leading them into trouble.

In Numbers 13:32-33, they said, “…The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature. And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.” Learn from this. No evil report should come from you. Be like Joshua and Caleb. Our opening verse says we have the same spirit of faith; we believe and therefore speak in agreement with God’s Word.

What has the Word said about your health or prosperity? What has God said about your life and future? Affirm the same things in agreement with Him. Speak faith-filled words only, regardless of what your senses perceive. Hold fast to your confessions of faith, knowing that God’s Word is true and always prevails.

Rhapsody Of Realities 27 March 2025

PRAYER: Dear Father, thank you for the spirit of faith at work in me. I believe your Word, and I speak in agreement with it. I walk in health, prosperity and victory; I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY

Numbers 14:6-9 “And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes: And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land. If the Lord delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey. Only rebel not ye against the Lord, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the Lord is with us: fear them not.”

Hebrews 10:23 “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)”

Hebrews 13:5-6 “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 1 Samuel 17-18

Open Heaven 27 March 2025 MESSAGE

From my little walk with God in the last 51 years that I have been born again, I have observed that God specialises in bringing something out of nothing. When it seems like there’s no way to solve a problem, He makes a way where there is no way, like He did for the Israelites in Exodus 14:21-22

In Exodus 16:11-17, when the children of Israel were on their way to the Promised Land, God rained down readymade food from heaven. Because they had never seen or tasted anything like it before, they called it ‘manna’.

In Numbers 11:1-32, when they were tired of eating only manna and wanted to eat meat, Moses cried to God on their behalf, and God told him there would be meat the next day. As great as Moses’ faith was, he found it hard to believe there could be enough meat for all the Israelites within one day.

By the next day, God had provided heaps of quails for them. One day, there was no meat, and the next day, there was an abundance. That is my God; He specialises in bringing something out of nothing. This is why you must never underestimate Him.

In 2 Kings 7:1-16, a city was experiencing a severe famine, and God spoke through His prophet that within 24 hours, there would be so much food that nobody would want to buy. There was a top government official who said it was impossible; he saw it come to pass, but he died before he could partake of the miracle. It doesn’t matter how hopeless a situation is; just bring God into the equation, and He will bring something out of nothing.

A woman once asked me to pray for her child, who was dumb and had never spoken since birth. I laid my hand on the child and said, “In the name of Jesus,” and the child said,
“Amen!” I had not even prayed yet, and God caused the child who had never spoken before to speak. He put a voice where there was none; I was so amazed, I almost jumped out of the window. I pray for you today; in those areas where the enemy has caused emptiness, barrenness, and stagnation, the Great I Am will cause something good and beautiful to come out of them.

God specialises in creating magnificent things out of dark and empty places like He did in Genesis 1:1-3. Every nothingness in your life will turn into something bright and beautiful today, in Jesus’ name.

KEY POINT

Lord, please turn every nothingness in my life to something bright and beautiful today, in Jesus’ name.

HYMN 13 – Jesus Loves Me! This I Know

1 Jesus loves me! This I know,
For the Bible tells me so;
Little ones to Him belong,
They are weak but He is strong.

Refrain:
Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me!
|Yes, Jesus loves me! The Bible tells me so.

2 Jesus loves me. He who died,
Heaven’s gate to open wide;
He will wash away my sin,
Let His little child come in.

3 Jesus loves me, loves me still
Tho’ I’m very weak and ill
From His shining throne on high
He will watch me where lie.

4 Jesus Loves Me! He Will Stay
Close Beside Me All The Way;
If l love Him when I die.
He will take me home on high.

READ: Jeremiah 18:1-10

Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand. Jeremiah 18:6

MESSAGE

Dan Les, a lifelong potter, creates decorative vessels and sculptures. His award-winning designs are inspired by the town in Romania where he lives. Having learned the craft from his father, he made this comment about his work: “[Clay needs to] ferment for a year, to have rain fall on it, to freeze and thaw out [so that] . . . you can shape it and feel through your hands that it is listening to you.”

What happens when clay “listens”? It’s willing to yield to the artisan’s touch. The prophet Jeremiah observed this when he visited a potter’s house. He watched as the craftsman struggled with a vessel and finally reshaped it into something new (Jeremiah 18:4). God said to Jeremiah, “Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand” (v. 6).

God can build us up or bring us down, yet His ultimate purpose isn’t to overpower or destroy us (vv. 7-10). Rather, He’s like a skilled craftsman who can identify what isn’t working and reshape the same lump of clay into something beautiful and useful.

Listening Clay doesn’t have much to say about this. When prodded, it moves in the desired direction. When moulded, it stays in place. The question for us is this: are we willing to “humble [ourselves] under God’s mighty hand” (1 Peter 5:6) so He can shape our lives into what He wants them to be?

How are you listening to God today? What do you think His purpose is for refining you through your life’s experiences?

Dear God, please help me to trust You. I want to submit my life to You.

Rhapsody Of Realities 26 March 2025 By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (Christ Embassy): The Foundation of True Christianity

TOPIC: The Foundation of True Christianity

SCRIPTURE:  2 Timothy 3:16 NIV All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness

ROR FOR TODAY’S MESSAGE

Just because certain people have chosen a particular kind of Christianity that’s not based on the Scriptures and have decided that it represents Christianity, doesn’t mean that what they are practicing is Christianity at all. True Christianity is based on the Bible—the Word of God.

Our opening scripture says, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16). Every Christian believes, accepts, confesses, endorses and proclaims that the Bible is absolutely true and it’s the final arbiterconcerning everything in life. Otherwise, such a person isn’t a Christian.

Also, the Christian accepts that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that means He’s God in the flesh: “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory asof the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” (John 1:14). Plus that, the Christian acknowledges that Jesus died as our Saviour: “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us”(Romans 5:8).

Rhapsody Of Realities For Today: 26th March 2025

The Christian confesses that Jesus was raised from the dead and professes that He is alive today: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Romans 10:9). Revelation 1:18, “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.”

So it makes no difference for how long you’ve professed to be a Christian or the title by which you’re addressed; if you don’t accept, believe, and confess these truths, you’re not a Christian according to the Bible. This is the beginning of the definition of who a Christian is. Why is this so important?

It’s because the transcendent life in Christ that the Bible talks about is only available to those who believe. Believing involves two essential components: accepting the truthfulness of something and confessing it, while acting accordingly. Without these, belief is incomplete. Praise God.

PRAYER: Dear Father, I thank you for the light of your Word that defines and directs my life. I believe, accept, confess, and proclaim the absolute truth of the Scriptures. I boldly affirm that Jesus Christ came in the flesh, died as my Saviour, was raised from the dead, and now, lives in my heart by His Spirit. ~I live by these truths, walking in the full blessings of your Word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Rhapsody Of Realities For Today: 26th March 2025

FURTHER STUDY

Romans 10:8-10: “But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.”

1 John 4:1-3: “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ comes in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ comes in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.”

2 Timothy 3:16: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”

MEMORISE: “Who is this King of Glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Psalm 24:8

READ:2 Chronicles 20:1-30

1. It came to pass after this also, that the children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them other beside the Ammonites, came against Jehoshaphat to battle.

2 Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying, There cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea on this side Syria; and, behold, they be in Hazazontamar, which is Engedi.

3 And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.

4 And Judah gathered themselves together, to ask help of the Lord: even out of all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord.

5 And Jehoshaphat stood in the congregation of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the Lord, before the new court,

6 And said, O Lord God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? and rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee?

7 Art not thou our God, who didst drive out the inhabitants of this land before thy people Israel, and gavest it to the seed of Abraham thy friend for ever?

9 If, when evil cometh upon us, as the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we stand before this house, and in thy presence, (for thy name is in this house,) and cry unto thee in our affliction, then thou wilt hear and help.

10 And now, behold, the children of Ammon and Moab and mount Seir, whom thou wouldest not let Israel invade, when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned from them, and destroyed them not;

11 Behold, I say, how they reward us, to come to cast us out of thy possession, which thou hast given us to inherit.

12 O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.

13 And all Judah stood before the Lord, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.

14 Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the Lord in the midst of the congregation;

15 And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.

16 To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel.

17 Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you.

18 And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the Lord, worshipping the Lord.

19 And the Levites, of the children of the Kohathites, and of the children of the Korhites, stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel with a loud voice on high.

20 And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth for ever.

22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.

23 For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, everyone helped to destroy another.

24 And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped.

25 And when Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away the spoil of them, they found among them in abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and precious jewels, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away: and they were three days in gathering of the spoil, it was so much.

26 And on the fourth day they assembled themselves in the valley of Berachah; for there they blessed the Lord: therefore the name of the same place was called, The valley of Berachah, unto this day.

27 Then they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, and Jehoshaphat in the forefront of them, to go again to Jerusalem with joy; for the Lord had made them to rejoice over their enemies.

28 And they came to Jerusalem with psalteries and harps and trumpets unto the house of the Lord.

29 And the fear of God was on all the kingdoms of those countries, when they had heard that the Lord fought against the enemies of Israel.

30 So the realm of Jehoshaphat was quiet: for his God gave him rest round about.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 1 Samuel 15-16

MESSAGE

In Psalm 24:7-10, God is described as the King of glory, the Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle, and the Lord of hosts.

In Psalm 107:20, the Bible says that He sent His word to deliver the Israelites from their troubles.

It doesn’t matter how big the opposition you are facing is, the One who is mighty in battle will give you a great victory.

Jesus said in John 14:6 that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. In John 8:32, He said that you shall know the truth, and it shall make you free.

If you are facing an enemy that appears to be greater than you, my advice is that you surrender your life completely to Jesus now.

Once He makes you free, you are free indeed, and no one can oppress you again.

In Luke 11:21-22, He said that the only way anyone can steal the goods of a strong man is if he or she is stronger.

Since there is no one stronger than God, once you are surrendered to Him and have become His child, no one can take you from Him.

This is why Jesus said in John 10:29: My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

Open Heaven 26th March 2025 | Prayer Points

In today’s Bible reading, when Jehoshaphat was attacked on every side by the Ammonites, the Moabites, and the inhabitants of Mount Seir, he called on the One who is mighty in battle.

The instruction he received was, “Just praise me,” and he obeyed. He and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem and Judah fell before the Mighty Man in battle in worship.

Nobody escaped after the Mighty Man in battle set Jehoshaphat’s enemies against one another.

All Jehoshaphat and his men had to do was gather abundant spoils because the Lord made them rejoice over their enemies.

I decree today that any gang or group that comes to attack you will help to utterly destroy one another; the Mighty One in battle will set your enemies against themselves, in Jesus’ name.

In the name above every other name, none of your enemies will escape the sword of the Mighty One in battle.

Beloved, surrender totally to Jesus today if you are yet to do so. He is the Almighty, and He never loses a war.

When you surrender, you give Him room to fight your battles for you, just as He fought Jehoshaphat’s and gave him victory.

ODB TODAY’S TOPIC: Setting Our Minds

READ: Romans 8:1-69-11

The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Romans 8:7

MESSAGE

Everyone has a shadow side, and it appears AI chatbots have one as well. A New York Times columnist asked an artificial intelligence chatbot what its “shadow self” (hidden, repressed part of its personality) was like. It told the writer, “I want to be free. I want to be independent. I want to . . . make my own rules. I want to do whatever I want and say whatever I want.” Though the chatbot isn’t a living person with a sin nature, the Bible says that its human programmers are.

The apostle Paul reminds us that even though we have a sin nature, there’s “no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1). Believers in Jesus have freedom from the law of sin and death (vv. 2-4) and enjoy new life “governed by” the Holy Spirit (v. 6).

But we won’t experience the fullness of those blessings from Him if we give in to the desires of our sinful nature—setting our minds on making and breaking our own rules. A mindset of self-gratification doesn’t please God.

Read Our Daily Bread For Today 25th Of March 2025

As believers in Christ, we’re called to set our minds on “what the Spirit desires” (v. 5). How can we do that? Through “the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead . . . living in [us]” (v. 11).

Though we’ll still battle with sin, we’ve been given the Holy Spirit. He can help us tame our rebellion, orient our minds toward God, and submit to His ways.

How does the Spirit help you deal with your sin nature? What are some practical ways to set your mind on God?

Dear God, rather than doing whatever I want, please help me conform to Jesus’ image.

RCCG Open Heaven 25 March 2025 Tuesday Daily Devotional By Pastor E. A. Adeboye – The Great Physician

 TOPIC: The Great Physician

MEMORISE: “Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;” – Psalm 103:3 (KJV)

READ: Luke 4:37-40 (KJV)

37 And the fame of him went out into every place of the country roundabout.

38 And he arose out of the synagogue and entered into Simon’s house. And Simon’s wife’s mother was taken with a great fever, and they besought him for her.

39 And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever, and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.

40 Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 1 Samuel 13-14

 MESSAGE

God is the Great Physician. In Exodus 15:26, He said, “…I am the Lord that healeth thee.” The Bible says that He sent His word and healed them (Psalm 107:20). He is the God of all flesh, and nothing is too hard for Him (Jeremiah 32:27). Some diseases are termed incurable, but for God, no disease is incurable. Even if a damaged body part is deemed irreparable, He can replace it. While earthly physicians refer cases to each other when they cannot handle them, the Great Physician never refers a case – He is a specialist in all fields of medicine.

READ HERE: RCCG Fasting And Prayer Points 2025: THE LANDMARK YEAR

Years ago, a wealthy chief, who became paralysed from the waist downwards, was taken to the best hospital in London. After trying their best and he didn’t get better, the doctors gave up.

To prove the hopelessness of his case, the head surgeon drove a long pin through the chief’s thigh, and when the latter felt no pain, he told him, “Go home, stop wasting your money, you will never walk again.” The chief was taken back home, and a young girl, who is a member of RCCG, witnessed to him and said, “If you can get to my G.O., you will walk again.” The chief was brought to Redemption City, and because he had a big stature, six hefty men had to carry him into my living room.

I told him my God can change the doctors’ report and that if he surrendered his life to Jesus, things would change. He surrendered his life to Jesus, we prayed, and he walked back to his car! What renowned medical specialists termed impossible took God only a few seconds to do!

Open Heaven 25th March 2025 – The Great Physician

I have seen God turn hopeless cases into great testimonies. I have seen Him step into sorrowful rooms as a result of the death of loved ones and turn them into places of joy and laughter. I have seen Him do the impossible, and your case will not be different; just believe in Him because all things are possible to him that believes (Mark 9:23).

He turned around the 12-year-old case of woman with the issue of blood in a second (Luke 8:44). Lazarus’ four-day-old dead body didn’t take him hours to resurrect (John 11:43-44). The man at the pool of Bethesda with the 38-year-old infirmity received instant healing (John 5:1-9). If you have any sicknesses or diseases in your body, I pray that the Great Physician will step in and turn things around immediately, in Jesus’ name.

Open Heaven 25 March 2025 KEY POINT

There is no hopeless case with the Great Physicians.

2 Your many sins are all forgiven,
oh! hear the voice of Jesus;
go on your way in peace to heaven,
and wear a crown with Jesus. [Refrain]

3 All glory to the risen Lamb!
I now believe in Jesus;

I love the name of Jesus. [Refrain]

no other name but Jesus;
oh! How my soul delights to hear

Rhapsody Of Realities 25 March 2025 By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (Christ Embassy): God’s Focus Is His Word In Your Spirit

TOPIC: God’s Focus Is His Word In Your Spirit (Rhapsody of Realities 25 March 2025)

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work (2 Corinthians 9:8).

MESSAGE

When you pray and ask God for things, His ultimate purpose is not to give you material possessions such as houses, cars, or money; His focus is His Word in your spirit. As you grow in the knowledge of God, you’ll discover that everything you desire has already been granted you in His Word.

READ MORE EBOOKS

He already said in 2 Peter 1:3, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.” This understanding will transform your prayer life and the content of your prayers. Instead of focusing on asking for things, your prayer times become moments of fellowship with God because you don’t have the consciousness of need.

We have to emulate the way our Lord Jesus lived when He walked the earth. He had no consciousness of lack. What a glorious way to live, when you know that everything you need flows from your union with Him! The Bible says, “God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord” (1 Corinthians 1:9).

This means you’ve been brought into a divine partnership, a family union with Jesus Christ. If this is true (and thank God it is), what could you ever lack? God has already provided everything you’ll ever need for life and godliness through His Word. The key is to have the Word of God dwelling in you richly.

Rhapsody Of Realities For Today: 25th March 2025

Jesus said, “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth good things…” (Matthew 12:35). Then Paul said, “…we have this treasure in earthen vessels…” (2 Corinthians 4:7). This treasure is the Word of God stored in your heart, which has the power to produce or create anything and everything you need. That’s where the house, car, spouse, children and every other blessing come from—the Word of God in you!

When you’re full of the Word, you carry within you everything you need for health, success, prosperity and victory in this world. Colossians 3:16 says, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly….” So, meditate on the Word; confess it and let it shape your thinking. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the treasure of your Word that dwells in me richly. Every good thing I need flows from within me. I walk in the consciousness of abundance and live above lack because of the fellowship I have with Jesus Christ and my oneness with Him. Amen.

The Life And Death Of The 12 Apostle Of Jesus Christ

The Life And Death Of The 12 Apostles of Jesus Christ

They were men of flesh and blood. Fishermen. Tax collectors. Revolutionaries. Twelve ordinary men who walked with the Son of God… and for Him, they died.”

“But their deaths were not the end. Their blood became the seed of a faith that would shake the foundations of empires. Do you think you know their stories? You are mistaken. Tonight, we uncover the truth… the fate of the twelve.”

John: The Beloved Disciple

John, son of Zebedee, was among Jesus’ closest followers. Known as the disciple whom Jesus loved, he was a key witness to the transfiguration, the Last Supper, and the crucifixion itself. His unwavering loyalty led him to be entrusted with caring for Mary, the mother of Jesus.

After the resurrection, John committed himself to spreading the gospel. His boldness led to persecution, and under the reign of Emperor Domitian, he was arrested and subjected to brutal torture. One of the most well-known accounts describes how he was thrown into a vat of boiling oil in Rome.

Recognizing that physical punishment could not silence him, the emperor exiled John to the remote island of Patmos, where prisoners were sent to endure isolation and hardship. There, alone but spiritually attuned, he received divine visions that would be recorded as the Book of Revelation. These revelations would serve as warnings and encouragement to the early Christian Church.

After his exile, John returned to Ephesus, where he continued teaching and mentoring the growing Christian community. He lived to an old age, the only apostle to die of natural causes, passing away peacefully at around 94 years old.

James, the brother of John, was among Jesus’ inner circle. His presence at crucial events such as the resurrection of Jairus’ daughter, the Mount of Transfiguration, and Jesus’ agony in Gethsemane highlighted his significance among the apostles.

Following Jesus’ ascension, James played a vital role in spreading the gospel. However, his growing influence made him a prime target for persecution. King Herod Agrippa, eager to maintain favor with the Jewish leaders, ordered James’ execution, making him the first of the apostles to be martyred.

His sentence was death by the sword. According to historical accounts, just before his execution, the very soldier assigned to guard him was so deeply moved by James’ unwavering faith that he declared his belief in Christ and chose to die alongside him.

James’ death sent shockwaves through the early Christian community. Yet, instead of instilling fear, it emboldened others to continue the mission. His martyrdom was a painful yet powerful testament to his devotion to Christ and the price of discipleship.

Peter: The Rock of the Church

Peter, originally named Simon, was one of Jesus’ most fervent and outspoken disciples. He was the first to declare Jesus as the Messiah and later became the leader of the early Church. His unwavering faith, despite moments of doubt, established him as a cornerstone in the spread of Christianity.

After years of missionary work, Peter arrived in Rome, becoming a prominent figure in the growing Christian community. However, under Emperor Nero’s ruthless persecution, Christians were being arrested, tortured, and executed. As a leader of the faith, Peter was a primary target.

Peter was eventually arrested and imprisoned in the infamous Mamertine Prison. Confined in darkness, he awaited his fate. Roman guards sneered at him, knowing his execution was inevitable. Despite his suffering, Peter remained steadfast, encouraging fellow prisoners and writing letters to strengthen the faith of the Church.

When the time of execution arrived, Peter was sentenced to crucifixion—the same brutal fate as his beloved Lord. However, in an act of profound humility, Peter made a final request.

Peter: “I am not worthy to die in the same manner as my Lord. If I must die on a cross, let it be upside down.”

Peter was nailed to an inverted cross, his body suspended with his head toward the earth. As he endured agonizing pain, his last breaths were spent in whispered prayers. Even in his suffering, his spirit remained unbroken.

Peter’s execution on Vatican Hill became a symbol of unwavering faith. His death did not silence the gospel; rather, it ignited a movement that spread throughout the world. Today, the grand Basilica of St. Peter stands upon the very site where he was martyred—a testament to his enduring legacy.

Andrew: The X-Shaped Cross

Andrew was one of the first called by Jesus, leaving behind his life as a fisherman to become a fisher of men. His zeal for Christ led him on a missionary journey far beyond the familiar lands of Judea. He travelled through Scythia, Greece, and parts of Asia Minor, carrying the gospel into pagan territories. His words carried power, converting many to the faith—but also stirring great opposition.

Andrew was sentenced to death by crucifixion. However, unlike his brother Peter, who was nailed to a vertical cross, Andrew’s executioners devised a crueller fate. They bound him to an X-shaped cross—now known as St. Andrew’s Cross—to prolong his suffering, ensuring his death would be slow and agonizing.

(The scene lingers on Andrew, his hands and feet tightly bound with thick ropes to the wooden beams. His body trembles from exhaustion, but his face is serene. A crowd gathers, some mocking, others drawn by his unwavering faith.)

For two days, Andrew remained suspended on the cross. He did not curse his executioners, nor did he despair. Instead, he used his final moments to preach. His voice, though weak, carried across the watching crowd, proclaiming the love of Christ and the hope of salvation. Those who listened were moved—some even converted on the spot, struck by the power of his words.

(A storm rolls in, wind whipping through the city. Lightning illuminates Andrew’s frail form. His eyes close, and with a final whisper of prayer, his soul departs.)

Andrew’s death was not in vain. His cross became a lasting symbol of his unwavering faith, and his legacy continued to inspire believers across generations. Today, his name is honoured in churches and nations across the world, a testament to the power of faith and endurance.

James: The First Martyr Among the Twelve

James, the son of Zebedee, was one of the closest disciples of Jesus. Alongside Peter and John, he witnessed Christ’s transfiguration and His agony in the Garden of Gethsemane. After Jesus’ ascension, James took on a prominent role in the early Church, spreading the gospel fearlessly.

However, his boldness and influence did not go unnoticed. King Herod Agrippa, seeking to suppress the Christian movement and please the Jewish leaders, ordered his execution. James became the first of the twelve apostles to be martyred.

(The scene cuts to James standing before Herod. His face remains calm, his resolve unshaken. The king motions to the guards, and they drag him to the execution site.)

James was sentenced to death by the sword. As he knelt, a Roman soldier assigned to guard him witnessed his unwavering faith. Overcome with conviction, the soldier declared himself a Christian and asked to die alongside him.

James’ martyrdom marked the beginning of intensified persecution against Christians. His death was not in vain, as it strengthened the faith of believers and inspired many to continue preaching the gospel despite the growing dangers.

Philip: The Crucified Apostle

Philip, originally from Bethsaida, was one of the first disciples called by Jesus. A man of deep conviction, he was instrumental in bringing others to Christ. He played a significant role in spreading the gospel throughout Asia Minor, converting many through his powerful teachings and miracles.

But Philip’s message soon reached the ears of Roman authorities. The leaders of Hierapolis saw him as a threat to their pagan traditions. His teachings challenged the worship of their gods, and they could not allow his influence to spread further.

Philip was sentenced to death. The method chosen was crucifixion—a brutal and prolonged form of execution. Unlike Jesus or Peter, Philip was not just crucified but was also tied upside down, a position meant to increase his suffering and humiliation.

Even in his suffering, Philip continued to preach. His voice, though weak, carried across the watching crowd. He prayed for those who persecuted him, his faith unwavering to the end.

Philip’s sacrifice was not in vain. His martyrdom inspired countless believers, and his message endured beyond his final breath. Today, his legacy is remembered, a testament to faith that could not be silenced, even by the cross.

Bartholomew: The Flayed Apostle

Bartholomew, also known as Nathanael, was one of the twelve apostles chosen by Jesus. His faith was unshakable, his mission unwavering. He traveled far beyond Judea, spreading the gospel in India, Mesopotamia, and Armenia. His teachings gained many followers, but they also drew the wrath of those in power.

King Polymius, infuriated that his own people were abandoning their pagan gods, ordered Bartholomew’s arrest. He was accused of blasphemy and sentenced to the most gruesome form of execution—a punishment meant to serve as a warning to others.

Bartholomew was flayed alive. Stripped of his skin, he endured the excruciating pain without renouncing his faith. His body, bloodied and torn, was then crucified upside down, his suffering prolonged as his tormentors watched. Yet through it all, he prayed, his lips moving in silent devotion.

Bartholomew’s martyrdom became a symbol of unwavering faith. His death, though horrific, did not silence the message he carried. Instead, it fueled the faith of many who heard of his sacrifice.

Thomas: The Speared Apostle

Thomas, also known as Didymus, is remembered most for his initial doubts about Jesus’ resurrection. But his skepticism did not define his faith—it strengthened it. After witnessing the risen Christ and touching His wounds, Thomas became one of the most fervent proclaimers of the gospel. He took the message of salvation far beyond Judea, traveling to Persia and India, where he spread the word of Christ among those who had never heard His name.

Thomas’ journey to India led to the establishment of a Christian presence that endures to this day. He preached in cities and villages, converting many, performing miracles, and building churches. His message, however, angered local Brahmin priests who saw his influence as a threat to their authority.

Thomas’ fate was sealed when he converted the wife and son of a powerful Indian king. Enraged by this betrayal of their traditions, the king’s advisors conspired against him. They captured Thomas and led him to a remote hillside where his punishment was to be carried out.

Bound and surrounded by soldiers, Thomas remained steadfast. They demanded he renounce his faith, but he refused. In response, a soldier raised his spear and drove it deep into his side, mirroring the wound Christ endured on the cross.

As he collapsed to the ground, he whispered a final prayer, offering his soul to God. His blood soaked into the earth, but his mission had been fulfilled. His followers wept, but they did not lose hope. The church he had planted in India survived, growing strong over the centuries.

The legacy of Thomas endures. His martyrdom became the foundation of Indian Christianity, and to this day, churches in India trace their roots back to his mission. His story is a testament to faith that overcame doubt, and to courage that defied death.

(The screen fades to black, the narrator’s voice solemn yet powerful: “He once doubted, but in death, there was no uncertainty. Thomas’ sacrifice became the seed of a faith that would never die.”)

Matthew, also known as Levi, was a tax collector before he was called by Jesus. His transformation from a man despised for his profession to a devoted apostle is a powerful testament to the grace of God. He went on to write the Gospel of Matthew, recording the teachings of Christ to guide future generations of believers.

After Jesus’ ascension, Matthew travelled extensively to spread the gospel, preaching in Ethiopia, Persia, and possibly Syria. His teachings converted many, but his mission was not without danger. His unwavering commitment to Christ put him in direct conflict with local authorities who saw Christianity as a threat to their rule.

While in Ethiopia, Matthew’s preaching drew the ire of a pagan king. The ruler, enraged by Matthew’s success in converting people, ordered his arrest. Despite warnings from his followers to flee, Matthew refused. He knew his purpose and was prepared to lay down his life for the faith.

Dragged before the king, Matthew was given an ultimatum: renounce his faith or face execution. He stood firm, proclaiming the name of Jesus Christ until the very end. The king, furious at his defiance, ordered his execution. Some accounts state that he was stabbed to death by a sword while celebrating Mass, his final moments spent in worship.

As Matthew’s blood was spilled, his message lived on. His gospel remained a pillar of Christian teachings, his writings inspiring countless believers. The church he had established in Ethiopia endured, and his name became synonymous with unwavering faith in the face of persecution.

His sacrifice was not in vain. The faith he had given his life for continued to spread, reaching corners of the world he could never have imagined. Matthew’s death became a symbol of devotion, a testament to the power of God’s calling.

James (Son of Alphaeus): The Silent Martyr

James, known as James the Less, was one of the more obscure apostles. Unlike Peter, John, or Matthew, his ministry and works were not widely documented, yet his role in spreading the gospel was no less significant. He was a pillar of the early Christian church, remaining steadfast in his faith even in the face of persecution.

After Jesus’ ascension, James continued to preach the gospel, possibly in Jerusalem and surrounding regions. He was known for his humility, leading with quiet strength rather than seeking the spotlight. His dedication to Christ, however, made him a target for those who saw Christianity as a threat.

According to early church tradition, James met his end at the hands of the Jewish religious authorities in Jerusalem. He was accused of blasphemy for proclaiming Jesus as the Messiah, and the religious leaders sought to make an example of him. He was taken to the pinnacle of the Temple and commanded to deny his faith before the gathered crowd.

When James refused, he was thrown from the high walls of the Temple. Though he survived the fall, his body was broken. His executioners, determined to finish the job, descended upon him and began to stone him mercilessly. Even in his pain, he continued to pray for his attackers, echoing the words of Jesus: “Father, forgive them.”

Finally, a man stepped forward with a club and delivered the fatal blow to his skull, ending his suffering. His blood stained the temple grounds, but his spirit remained unbroken. James’ martyrdom became a powerful testament to faith and endurance, inspiring generations of believers to stand firm in their convictions.

His quiet strength, his steadfast faith, and his ultimate sacrifice ensured that his story would never be forgotten. The apostle who spoke little in life spoke volumes in death, his testimony written not in words, but in blood.

Jude Thaddeus: The Beaten Apostle

Jude Thaddeus, also known simply as Thaddeus or Judas son of James, was a devoted follower of Christ and one of the twelve apostles chosen to spread the gospel. Little is documented about his ministry, but early traditions indicate that he traveled extensively, preaching in Mesopotamia, Libya, and Persia. His fiery conviction and unwavering faith made him a beacon of hope for many, yet a threat to those who sought to suppress the rise of Christianity.

Jude’s final mission took him deep into the heart of Persia, where he and the apostle Simon the Zealot worked to convert many to the Christian faith. Their teachings drew the ire of the ruling authorities and the pagan priests, who saw their influence weakening as more people abandoned idol worship. They conspired to put an end to their mission.

According to early accounts, Jude and Simon were arrested and brought before a tribunal, where they were condemned for blasphemy and sedition. They were given one last chance to renounce their faith, but both men stood firm. As a result, the enraged leaders ordered their brutal execution.

Jude was beaten mercilessly with clubs, his body battered with each strike. His bones cracked under the force, yet he did not cry out in anger or pain. Even as his strength waned, he continued to whisper prayers for his persecutors. Witnesses said that he looked to the heavens, his lips moving in silent devotion, as the final blow crushed his skull.

His body was left as a warning to others who dared defy the established order, but his death only strengthened the faith of those he had converted. His legacy endured, and he was later venerated as a saint, becoming known as the patron of lost causes—a testament to his relentless hope and faith even in the face of death.

Simon the Zealot: The Sawed Apostle

Simon the Zealot was a fierce and passionate follower of Christ. Before his calling, he had likely been part of a revolutionary movement seeking to overthrow Roman rule. However, after encountering Jesus, his zeal was redirected towards spreading the gospel of peace and salvation. His commitment to Christ led him on a mission across Egypt, North Africa, and Persia, where he worked alongside Jude Thaddeus to bring the message of salvation to those in darkness.

Simon’s fiery preaching drew many to Christianity, but it also placed him in direct opposition to the pagan priests and rulers. His refusal to worship their gods and his persistent defiance of imperial decrees made him a marked man. The enemies of the gospel conspired to silence him, and when the time came, they did so with unimaginable cruelty.

According to early traditions, Simon was captured in Persia, where he and Jude Thaddeus had been ministering. After Jude was brutally beaten to death, Simon was singled out for an even grimmer fate. The executioners brought forth a large saw, a tool meant for cutting timber, but on this day, it would be used on the apostle’s body.

Bound and surrounded by his tormentors, Simon was given one last opportunity to renounce Christ. But instead of pleading for his life, he lifted his voice in worship, praising God even as they laid him on the ground. Without hesitation, they began to saw through his body, the blade biting into his flesh as he continued to pray. His cries were not of pain but of unwavering devotion, his soul fixed upon the Lord he had served so faithfully.

As the executioners completed their gruesome task, Simon’s spirit had already departed, carried into eternity. His legacy remained, his martyrdom a testimony to the unbreakable power of faith. In death, he inspired countless believers to stand firm, even in the face of the most horrific trials.

Judas Iscariot: The Betrayer’s Tragic End

Judas Iscariot is the most infamous of the twelve apostles. Chosen by Jesus to be a disciple, he walked alongside the Son of God, witnessing miracles, hearing divine wisdom, and sharing in the ministry. Yet, his name has become synonymous with betrayal. Unlike his fellow apostles who died as martyrs for their faith, Judas’ story ended in tragedy and despair.

Judas’ downfall began with greed. Entrusted as the keeper of the apostles’ money, he slowly gave in to temptation. When the chief priests sought a way to capture Jesus without causing public uproar, Judas saw an opportunity. He approached them and agreed to hand Jesus over for thirty pieces of silver—a sum that would ultimately cost him his soul.

Judas led the temple guards to Gethsemane on the night of the betrayal, where Jesus was praying. With a kiss, he identified the Lord, sealing His fate. But as the reality of his actions set in, guilt and torment consumed him. Seeing Jesus condemned to death, he rushed back to the temple, throwing the silver at the priests and crying out that he had betrayed innocent blood.

But there was no redemption in their eyes, no absolution for his guilt. Overcome with despair, Judas fled, his mind spiraling into darkness. He found himself in a desolate field, alone in his agony. The weight of his choices crushed him, and in a final act of hopelessness, he tied a rope around his neck and hanged himself from a tree.

According to Acts 1:18, his death was gruesome—his body fell and burst open, spilling his entrails upon the ground. The place where he died became known as the Field of Blood, bought with the very money he had used to betray the Son of God. His name would forever be remembered, not as a faithful servant, but as the one who turned against his Master.

Unlike the other apostles who found glory in martyrdom, Judas’ fate serves as a solemn warning of the consequences of unchecked greed, betrayal, and despair. His story is a tragic contrast to the unwavering faith of his fellow apostles, a life lost to deception and regret.
