    The 66th Grammy Awards was held on Sunday, 4th February 2024 at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena with an expected influx of stars and influencers. There were first-time winners, returning winners and consistent winners. However let’s look at the gospel category, nominations and winners as this is what this page is about.

    GRAMMY AWARDS FOR THE CHRISTIAN/GOSPEL CATEGORIES (WINNERS) 

    Lecrae had a fantastic evening at the 2024 Grammy Awards. The rapper won two additional Grammy Awards on Sunday, bringing his total to four. The awards were for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album (“Church Clothes 4”) and Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song (“Your Power” with Tasha Cobbs Leonard).

    Tye Tribbett‘s album “All Things New: Live In Orlando” took home the Award for Best Gospel Album, giving him the second of his career, Kirk Franklin, who gave a stellar performance on the Premiere show won his 20th Grammy for Best Gospel Performance/Song (“All Things“).

    The legendary Blind Boys from Alabama won Best Roots Gospel Album for their album “Echoes Of The South
