For seeking to evangelize the Chinese president and his wife, a Christian woman from northeast China was deported and incarcerated.

Zhou Jinxia went to the headquarters of the Communist Party of China’s Central Committee in Beijing on February 20th and held a sign sharing the gospel.
She was apprehended by authorities and deported to a Dalian prison centre. She was accused of ‘picking quarrels and creating a disturbance’ the next day.

According to the Christian persecution charity China Aid, Zhou Jinxia has tried to share the word of God with Xi Jinping and Peng Liyuan more than 50 times.
China Aid said: “Zhou Jinxia was administratively detained for 10 days in 2015 for preaching the gospel in front of Zhongnanhai Gate.
“On March 5, 2016, she held a placard again in front of Zhongnanhai Gate, which read: ” God loves the world and calls Xi Jinping and Peng Liyuan. ‘
