Dr Abel Damina Was Wrong For Saying This About Dunsin Oyekan’s Song

Trending on the internet is a video of Dr. Abel Damina who is known for his controversial take on issues concerning the body of Christ and is seen by many as a heretic or controversial preacher saying the song Channels Of My Spirit by Dunsin Oyekan is unscriptural. This has caused a mixed reaction from ministers, musicians and the general audience who are for or against Abel Damina’s take.

However, looking at the revelation behind the song, we would agree that Dr Abel did not understand the context. In the video below he referred to the channel as a frequency, not as a pathway for a body of water. The Bible says in JOHN 7:37b -39 feast, Jesus stood up and called out in a loud voice, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. 38Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture has said: ‘Streams of living water will flow from within him.’” 39He was speaking about the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were later to receive. For the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus had not yet been glorified

    OUR TAKE

A channel in the spirit could mean a pathway by which we reflect the embodiment of the Holy Spirit in us, in our everyday life, jobs, academics, careers and ministry that will in turn make others give glory to God. Anything that affords you the privilege to reflect the God in You is a channel of the Spirit. The Bible says by their fruits we shall know them.

Watch the video to have a full grasp of the concept and revelation behind this song which is proof that Dr. Abel was incorrect for berating the sanctity and revelation behind the song.  Above all, let love lead!! Let us refrain from the bathers on social media and pray for one another.
