Popular Nigerian Gospel Singer Dies at 51

The Wellu Wellu singer as he was popularly known, was born on May 30, 1971. has passed at the age of 51. Also, as the CEO of Zamar Entertainment, he worked with numerous gospel musicians.

Okposo recently became embroiled in scandal after he acknowledged having an adulterous relationship.

On January 24, 2022, he sent an apology to his wife Ozioma on his Instagram page for cheating on her. This was in response to African Doll’s accusations that he had impregnated and abandoned her.

Also, the gospel performer promised his audience that he would prioritize healing and ask for pardon.

His death’s exact circumstances are still unknown, however, it is believed he died after collapsing on Friday morning at his Lekki home.

His passing occurred only a few months after the veteran musician, who was involved in a horrific vehicle accident while driving on Lagos’ 3rd mainland bridge in May 2022 but was “saved from the hands of the devil and his collaborators,” managed to avoid meeting his demise.
