The Nigerian Televangelist and Founder of Christ Embassy International Ministry, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has made a revelation saying that the 10 commandments have been abolished and Christians are not meant to obey them.

The Pastor said this one of His teaching about the consciousness of the newness of life Jesus brought to cancel the rule of the Law of Moses. He said the law is needed to establish the priesthood office and the law of Moses was relevant in the lot testament until the new testament.
Jesus came to cancel the law and established a new order in which every believer born of God is under and that is not the 10 commandments.

“Sometimes when we study the Bible, if we are not careful we can miss a lot of things because of a lack of understanding of certain facts. For example, the teachings of Jesus. What are those things in His teachings that are applicable to us and what are those things in His teaching that are not applicable to us? Even though they are nice and beautiful.

And then, if they are not exactly applicable to us, what do we gain from them? These things are important. It’s like the ten commandments, you know some Christian says, “I obey the commandments.” Well, the Bible tells us that you are not supposed to obey the ten commandments

Christ Abolished The 10 Commandments

Now, when you say that, an unlearned Christian gets irritated. He says, “It is fundamental, the ten commandments are very important.” No, that is sense knowledge. He’s just trying to cover up his spiritual bankruptcy. The ten commandments were given by Moses when the old covenant was ratified for the children of Israel.

God gave the ten commandments to Moses to deliver to the people and then gave him other ordinances, by which the nation of Israel should live. When Jesus came, according to the scriptures, he fulfilled the law and abolished it.

So, all the commandments, ten commandments, the rest of the commandments and all the laws of Moses, according to the scriptures, have been abolished, cancelled because that law was based on the old priesthood that was abolished for the first testament.
