THE MATHEMATICS OF THE ‘GRACE’ CONSTANT
I believe we all know about the word GRACE.!!! Everybody talks about Grace we pray for its effects and manifestation always as believers but I have come to discover more.
Grace is a constant in every mans life the value of the constant is what varies…
You are alive by His grace, but we are not all on the same level as regards life also by His Grace. The fact that you are alive is by the grace of God and His mercy that is endless but the level of life you enjoy of you are exposed to is also by the grace of God. HEB 4: 2 For we also received the good news just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, since they did not share the faith of those who comprehended it.
Just like 24 hours is for every living being on earth but we all make the most or the least out of it, thus, it reflects in the quality of life we live. This is the reason we are not having the same results in Life although same 24hours of the day.
The Grace upon a man’s life is not equal to that upon his neighbour, but they both carry grace. Two students in the same classroom under the same teacher and condition might not produce the same result at the end of the day This is not because the grace is not there but what is attached to the grace vary.
WHAT IS GRACE?
In Western Christian theology, GRACE is “the love and mercy given to us by God because God desires us to have it, not necessarily because of anything we have done to earn it“. It is not a created substance of any kind. … It is an attribute of God that is most manifest in the salvation of sinners.
Every living soul is entitled to this grace constant, but just as life is in levels so also grace.
Grace covers great errors and colours little efforts. It brings result your capacity cannot comprehend or achieve on your own. It is not a function of what you can do but what God can do. It’s upon everyman but is it the same way for every man, I repeat No!!!!
Now let’s look at it mathematically,
G = GRACE
E= EFFORT
R = RESULT
G * E = R
if the grace upon a man’s life is 10G and he puts in an effort of 10E His results become 100R because Grace multiplies effort…
10G * 10E = 100R
Without Grace (G) his effort (E) will produce his result (R) and in no way would that be a pass mark
10E = 10R
However, if his neighbour has a grace level of 5G and the same effort of 10E as well but his result will be 50R
5G * 10E = 50R

Then He complains, we are doing the same thing and He is making more progress…….Hmmmmmmm!!!
Remember the parable of talents ??? Everyman according to their several abilities……he who could not trade with his, it was taken from him and given to that which had 10 already. Matt 25: 14 – 30

Now, what makes the former have a 10G and his neighbour a 5G is what we will discuss now. Every relationship we have as humans don’t fall on the same ladder in our order of preference so also God. God loves everyone the same way but doesn’t relate to everyone the same way as well. His word says turn to me and I will turn to you. ZECH 1; 3Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.
This constant could be a result of 2 Factors.
1. Covenant
Like Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob…which could reflect on the life of the Israelites God referred frequently to His covenant with them. Thus, a man as well could enjoy A Higher Level Of Grace, as a result of the covenant his fathers made with God.
Thus, don’t judge people that are making it now even when they don’t know God as well as u do….someone might have paid the price for him or her.. But no matter what it is only a matter of time because God values the relationship with His children, so if you are so far away you might get lost even after carrying Grace, it must be activated. Grace was upon the Israelites as they left Egypt God’d covenant kept speaking but only Caleb and Joshua Made it to the Promise land from the generation that stepped out of Egypt.
2.Relationship
This is what we enjoy as Christians. The more cordial your relationship with Jesus becomes the more of His grace you enjoy day by day. JOHN 1: 16 Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given.
Great Grace… ACTS; 4; 33 And with great ability and power the apostles were continuously testifying to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace [God’s remarkable lovingkindness and favour and goodwill] rested richly upon them all.
Someone once said we could be age mates but not Grace Mates…..
Without Grace effort can lead to frustration and vice versa they work hand in hand…Just Like Faith without works is Vain…
