Tim Godfrey has been dragged by fans over the outrageous gate fee and line up or featured artiste in his annual Fearless concert. Fans expressed sore displeasure as the flyers and billboards reveal the guest singers and gate fee.

First, it began with the price for the concert which goes as high as TWO MILLION NAIRA! while the least of the ticket tagged “early bird” which is known to be the regular ticket goes as high as TEN THOUSAND NAIRA.
This, to many music lovers, shows no difference between the concert and the secular concerts organized by secular artists.
Indeed, there are many sensational gospel artists slotted on for the program but this didn’t resonate with lovers who still feel the price tag is too high for a gospel concert.
Secondly, on the unveiling of Timi Dakolo as one of the ministers on the night. This didn’t meet well with gospel song lovers as they claim Timi Dakolo isn’t a gospel minister but a secular Artist.
To their claim, irrespective of how the song sounds and the lyrics go, if it isn’t about Christ, it isn’t gospel.
Albeit, With the calibre of ministers unveiled coupled with the venue, Eko Hotels and Suites, it is glaring much money will be required. Which might be the reason for the price tag. But this reason doesn’t please fans and music lovers worldwide.
