The Federal Government Of Nigeria has revealed its plan to carry out COVID-19 vaccination in churches on Sundays. As death cases from Covid-19 increase in various parts of the nation, this measure would be carried out to minimize the risk of spread.
The second delta variant seems to be more deadly and therefore strict measures have been introduced to enforce vaccination.

Faisal Shuaib, the Executive Director of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, disclosed this on Tuesday while addressing Christian leaders on the second phase of COVID-19 vaccinations.
He said: “I am glad to inform you that from this Phase 2 of the COVID-19 vaccine roll-out, we have introduced Sunday Vaccination.

“This is to ensure members of the Christian community who may not have had access to the vaccine for whatever reason are given an opportunity to be vaccinated at their worship places.
