What is the limit in a relationship? Is it wrong to hug, hold hands, kiss or are all these strictly for married people? Did you know that hugging is not a sign of love? Did you know that kissing is not a sign or proof of love? I don’t know the meaning of holding hands, whether it is a tug of war or whatever I don’t know that but whatever it is, there are not proves of love, there are not.

So what are there? Does anybody agree with me here that hugging is not proof of love, kissing is not proof of love and holding hands is not proof of love? So you’ve been deceiving somebody or yourself if you got into a relationship and you’ve started hugging and kissing and saying you are proving your love. You were not proving your love. Had it been proof of love, the bible would have told us that. It’s not proof of love, you know it’s not the proof of love.

You can do that to somebody without loving the person. Then what are there? Let me read something to you again 1 Corinthians 7:4” for the wife has not power of her own body but the husband and likewise the husband has not the power of his own body but the wife, do not refuse and deprive and defraud each other, except perhaps by mutual consent for a time, so that you may devote yourselves unhindered to prayer. It’s by permission and not by commandment. The bible says” for the wife has not to the power of her own body but the husband” do you understand that? The wife doesn’t have all the authority over her body but the husband does and the same to the husband. What is involved and why does she have power over his body and why does he have power over her body? the next thing here is “do not refuse and deprive and defraud each other, except perhaps by mutual consent for a time,”. That just means something, that means I have something I want to do with your body and when you don’t let me do what I what to do with your body, you are cheating me. Is that not what the bible is saying? This means I have something to do with your body and you have something to do with my body if we are married.

Now, this takes us somewhere. What if you are not married? You don’t have any right over each other’s body. No right, you don’t because you are not married. Kissing or hugging as it means here has to do with caressing, petting and so on, am I right? Let me tell you something when you are engaged in these things, you are not giving anybody anything, you are trying to make it so it’s not proof of love. It is part of, trying to court. Have you ever seen two male and female dog courting? What about a he-goat and she-goat? What about a hen and a cork? Have you ever seen two animals coming to both sides and start engaging in the act immediately?

There doesn’t just do that, you will find them moving around. Now what are there doing, the male was courting the female. What am saying is that all that hugging and kissing is not somebody trying to show love but to get something. You are in love with her, you want her now you covert her body and she may do the same for you. Then what do you do next? Am trying to tell you that if you are in that type of a relationship, the next time you find yourself doing these things, just remember you are not trying to prove love to your friend or whoever she is, you are not trying to show him or her love, you are only trying to have some self-gratification. You are sexually aroused and you want to meet up with your tension. That is all.
