Pastor Lazarus Muoka Loses Wife, Joy Muoka, After A Brief Illness
Joy Muoka, Pastor Lazarus Muoka’s wife is dead. She was the wife of the founder of Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries.
We learned that Joy passed away last Saturday, despite the church’s refusal to publish an official notification about her passing. She felt fine.
Muoka has now lost both of his wives. His first wife had passed away, so he married Joy.

Joy apparently passed away following Muoka’s evangelical trip in Ebonyi State, which was attended by a sizable number of people.
After the crusade in Ebonyi, she returned to Lagos, where she supposedly attended a church vigil the night before she passed away.
The church’s Public Relations Unit has refused to confirm to newsmen if the woman was dead or alive, but they have not denied the report either.

The news of Muoka’s wife’s death has spread like wildfire via Facebook, and now members of the congregation have confirmed that Joy has indeed passed away.
Years ago, Joy was reportedly taken overseas for a fibroid procedure, although this has not been reported as her death.
In reality, we don’t know what ultimately took her life, but there are speculations that she has been diabetic.

Attempts to contact Lord’s Chosen spokesman Louis Chidias have been unproductive.
But an unverified official statement by the church’s spokesperson reads “We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Joy. She was an exceptional woman who brought joy and solace to everyone she encountered. We ask for your prayers and support during this challenging time.”
