Marriage is a lifetime union as designed by God that only death should separate, amidst other factors. In Christianity today, divorce or separation has become rampant which goes against the biblical standards it represents. However, marriage is not a do or die affair. when it comes to life-threatening scenarios, a flight would be most welcomed.  But as the saying goes, no man is perfect with no exemptions to pastors, priests and patriarchs of faith, life happens. The bible says if a man is to be considered for the office a bishop or pastor – he must be “…the husband of one wife… (1Timothy 3:2)

Some men of God also have had their lots in the marriage institution but for some genuine reasons and other only God can answer that.

1. Williams Folorunsho (W.F.) Kumuyi

W.F. Kumuyi is the founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church. Although Kumuyi is currently 80 years old, he has been married more than once. He was 70 years old when he lost his first wife, Abiodun Kumuyi, in April 2010. However, it was gathered that Kumuyi got re-married to Folashade Blaize in 2011 at the age of 71.

Kumuyi’s decision to remarry came as a surprise, not only because he was already 71 years, but also because the woman he later remarried was 65 years old at the time and had never been married before.

2. Kenneth Copeland

Kenneth Copeland is the founder of the Kenneth Copeland Ministries(KCM). Copeland has also been married more than once – three (3) times to be more preciseAccording to a credible source, Copeland’s first marriage was to Ivy Bodiford in October 1955, the marriage ended in 1958 due to a divorce.

Again, Copeland married Cynthia Davis from 1958 to 1961, and in 1963 he married Gloria. Copeland has remained married to Gloria since then and both of them started KCM together.

Joshua Iginla is the founder and general overseer of the Champions Royal Assembly (CRA) – a ministry popularly known for its 80,000 seater headquarter church located at Kubwa, Abuja.

However, Iginla has got married more than once also. A credible source revealed that Iginla’s marriage to his first wife – Yemisi Iginla – ended in divorce in 2019, and he remarried a South-African-based woman – Stella Zimasa Ndamase
