Max Lucado was born on the 11th of January 1955 in San Angelo, a city in Texas. His father, Jack Lucado worked in the Petroleum Industry, and his mother, Thelma Lucado was a nurse. He obtained an undergraduate degree in Mass Communication from Abilene Christian University.
